  This is our neighborhood church. It's great. The services are lively and fun, while still teaching important concepts and stimulating further consideration. The classes for kids and adults alike are engaging. People are welcoming, but not the slightest bit off-put by someone like myself... I'm not very social and while I like to get involved in volunteering and my kids want to do everything for kids, I don't tend to show up to populous activities (like the things on Sunday morning) very often.
  
  Weekday programs for kids are fun and build positive morality. They do tons of programs for the community! Anything from couples conferences, all manner of retreats, free oil changes for single parents, support services for foster children and parents, family fun fairs, you name it. There's really something for anyone at this church.
  
  Also, they don't insist on strict adherence to a specific interpretation of scripture. As long as you have the basic foundation of believing in Christ, the Bible, and God....The leaders take an honest interest in diverging views. For instance, one of my teens has a very open idea of religion and believes the scriptures of various religions are basically pieces of the same puzzle and equally valid. That clearly effects his interpretation of the Bible. His leaders have never even suggested he's wrong, and seem to love to discuss and understand his differing ideas.
